NYON, Switzerland: Dental professionals should mark 23 and 24 November in their calendars in order not to miss a notable event in dental education: the world’s first international 24-hour dental webinar. For one whole day, participants around the globe will be offered dental education courses in eight languages covering the latest in prophylaxis.
The webinar was initiated in collaboration with leading dental prophylaxis specialist Electro Medical Systems and the Swiss Dental Online Academy in order to disseminate information about modern methods for radically improving biofilm management. The overall aim of this innovative online event is to provide an interactive platform for dental professionals to enter into a dialogue with experts and learn about the newest research, the latest innovations and the most advanced clinical protocols.
The impressive line-up features over 30 prominent speakers, including Prof. Niklaus P. Lang (Switzerland), Prof. Magda Mensi (Italy), Dr Gregor Petersilka (Germany), Prof. Stefan Renvert (Sweden) and Dr Falk Schwendicke (Germany), who will present their perspectives on the future of prevention in dentistry. Among the topics to be discussed are surgical versus non-surgical treatments, the evolution of biofilm, implant maintenance, the new classification of periodontal and peri-implant diseases, as well as the importance and profitability of prevention. Lectures will be given in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish and Russian and will take place over the course of 24 hours.
After each webinar, participants will have the opportunity to answer webinar-related questions to earn one continuing education (CE) credit. In total, 31 CE credits can be obtained through this webinar series.
The first webinar, focusing on oral biofilm, is scheduled to start on 23 November at 1 p.m. CET (7 a.m. EST). Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this revolutionary event and register now free of charge at www.24hdentalwebinar.com.
