Young Pro Award 2018 now open for submissions

BASEL, Switzerland: The Straumann Group and botiss biomaterials have recently announced the opening of their collaborative research award, the Young Pro Award in Regenerative Dentistry. The award aims to promote and encourage the development of young dental professionals in the field of regenerative dentistry and dental biomaterials research. The deadline for submissions is 15 September 2018.

The research award is open to dental professionals, including practitioners, hygienists, students and researchers, under the age of 35. The winning submission will be published in the online magazine STARGET, and the winner will receive a €10,000 cash prize. Both the winner and the two runners-up will also be offered free trips for and participation at the 2018 bone & tissue days World Congress in Berlin in Germany, to be held on 9 and 10 November.

Participants are required to submit original work that contributes to the advancement of treatment/care in regenerative dentistry or to research in the field. Dissertations, projects or practical work experience may form the basis of the submission, with entries to be assessed by a distinguished panel of experts in the field.
