NEW YORK, U.S.: Modern endodontics is a branch of restorative dentistry and according to some professionals, its goal is not only the prevention or elimination of apical periodontitis, but also the long-term preservation of sound dental structures. In a free webinar to be held on Thursday, 21 December, an expert will be focusing on an endodontic approach in the everyday dental practice and demonstrating step-by-step procedures for less invasive treatments.
Focusing on a patient-centered, minimally invasive approach, webinar host Dr. Gergely Benyőcs will demonstrate different protocols that can be applied to ensure a stable base for aesthetic restorations with regards to endodontic treatments. According to Benyőcs, many questions will arise during the webinar, such as should healthy dentin be sacrificed in order to remove broken instruments or not? And, where are the limitations?
Benyőcs graduated from the Semmelweis University in Budapest in 2001 and completed his master’s degree at the university’s Department of Conservative Dentistry in 2003. Benyőcs specializes in endodontic treatments, owns the PreceDent Dental practice and lectures both nationally and internationally.
The one-hour webinar titled, “Primum nil nocere! – Less invasive endodontic approach in our everyday practice” will be broadcast live on Thursday, 21 December, at 3 p.m. EST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
Dental professionals who are interested in attending the course may register online here.
