Expert to discuss the benefits of microscopes in free webina

In an upcoming free Dental Tribune Study Club webinar on Wednesday, 26 February, an expert will be sharing his professional expertise and knowledge regarding micro-dentistry. Webinar host Dr Fabio Gorni is an expert in endodontics and has been using Leica Microsystems dental microscopes for many years. He will be showcasing how he has been able to see more details and achieve improved treatment results with dental microscopes, especially in difficult cases.

In the webinar, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to obtain precise and deep insights into tooth structure. This allows the clinician to perform the finest of surgical interventions to preserve teeth. Additionally, Gorni will be explaining how the use of a dental microscope in endodontic procedures can support the surgical workflow, facilitate decision-making and potentially lead to better treatment results.

Gorni graduated from the University of Milan’s dental school and later became a consulting professor in endodontics at the San Paolo hospital in Milan. He is a member of the Italian Society of Endodontics, the Italian Academy of Microdentistry, the European Society of Endodontology and the American Association of Endodontists. He has lectured on various endodontic topics all over the world and has published articles in many national and international journals. He has his own private practice in Milan and specialises mainly in endodontics.

The 1-hour webinar, titled “From dentistry to micro-dentistry: See more to optimise your dental workflow”, will be broadcast live on Wednesday, 26 February, at 12 p.m. EDT. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
