Minimally invasive dentistry is on a continual path to finding new and more effective ways to preserve original tissue. This approach to dentistry offers smaller incisions, faster recovery times, and reduced pain and scarring, and it is vital to have a good plan heading into every treatment. In a free Ivoclar Vivadent webinar on Thursday, Jan. 23, Dr. Miona Jovanovic will be providing information on the preparation of treatment plans for a range of age and risk groups.
In her postgraduate education, Jovanovic followed diverse courses on preventive and reconstructive dentistry, and on the design and interpretation of clinical studies, and she is well placed to share her knowledge. After the webinar, she hopes that participants will be able to design individual preventive plans for patients of various risk and age groups and to answer common oral health-related questions.
After finishing her dental degree at the University of Belgrade in Serbia in 2010, Jovanovic worked as a general dental practitioner in Serbia and Germany for seven years and then obtained her doctorate from the Medical University of Vienna’s Department of Dentistry in 2019. Since 2017, she has been working for Ivoclar Vivadent in Vienna, giving courses on fixed prosthodontics, bleaching and preventive care.
The 1-hour webinar, titled “Let’s talk truly minimal invasive,” will be broadcast live on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 5 a.m. EST. Attendance is free of charge after easy registration on the website. Participants will be able to ask questions via a chat window and have the opportunity to earn a continuing education credit by completing a multiple-choice questionnaire on the topic.
Dental professionals who are interested in attending the course may register online here.
