Dr Marcus Engelschalk

Dr Engelschalk holds postgraduate qualifications in implantology and oral surgery and completed his PhD in general surgery at the University of Pécs in Hungary. He is owner of Slow Digital Dentistry, a private dental office, and is attending physician for oral surgery and implantology at the IsarAOP Zentrum in Munich in Germany. In addition, he is an adjunct external scientific researcher at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany, and his research focus is augmented reality and artificial intelligence in dental implantology. He is a member of the international board of the MegaGen International Network of Education and Clinical Research, an ambassador for the Digital Dentistry Society for Germany and for the Slow Dentistry Global Network for Germany and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Future Dentistry.
