3M AlastiK Lingual Ligatures

AlastiK Lingual Ligatures, used as plain ties, apply similar vertical and tip control when compared to overties used with powerchain.* Due to the design of the ligatures, the application is easier compared to current ligation techniques and provides patient comfort at the same time.

The AlastiK Lingual Ligatures are easy to see on gold brackets, have an optimized cross-section to deliver ideal forces and have a proprietary design for easy application. A convenient tab enables a secure grip.

A force comparison shows that AlastiK Lingual Ligatures express the same force as an overtie, and they are fast and easy to handle. They also express more force than other lingual ligatures. In addition, the innovative ligatures break less than commonly used chains during installation and between appointments.
