Morita Veraview X800

Outstandingly Image Quality for Increased Safety

Morita provides three-dimensional, panoramic and cephalometric images with unsurpassed image quality for the dental practice — with its Veraview X800, the new 2D/3D imaging system that has won the iF Design Award. Many innovative features improve diagnostic confidence for dental treatment planning: The revolutionary attention to detail provided by an extremely high resolution of more than 2.5 lp/mm MTF and a voxel size of 80 µm provides spectacular results, both in terms of the images themselves and during image post-processing. For example, the Zoom Reconstruction function, used here for the first time in a 2D/3D combination X-ray system, allows to increase the sharpness of existing radiological images without retakes. New panorama features such as Adaptive Focal Point (AFP) — which analyzes several layers of acquired images and compiles a new image from optimized panoramic layers — and Adaptive Grayscale (AGS) increase the amount of detail, providing perfect contrast. The operators can always keep an eye on patient safety: The Veraview X800 lets them choose between 180° and 360° images to minimize radiation doses and maximize resolution, while the horizontal X-ray beam reduces the incidence of artifacts. Quick scan times, the adjustment to individual patient sizes, and collimated children recordings further assist treatment planning. No fewer than eleven fields of view (FOV) cover all dental situations — from implantology and periodontology to endodontology and general dentistry. The appearance of the Veraview X800 unit itself is impressive as well. Still brand-new on the market, the system has already won an iF Design Gold Award for its smart design. Morita’s new generation of Veraview-series X-ray units is a visual pleasure in more than one way — an attractively styled device producing superior imaging results.
